Dr. Deepa Srivastav
Dr. Deepa Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, India. She previously served as a UGC Post-Doctoral Fellow in the same department, contributing significantly to research and academic development in plant sciences. Dr. Srivastava qualified the prestigious CSIR-NET–Junior Research Fellowship examination in her first attempt and subsequently worked as a Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow. She earned her Ph.D. in Plant Virology under the supervision of Prof. K. Shukla.
Dr. Srivastava has an extensive research portfolio, with over 42 publications in reputed national and international journals and more than 60 presentations at national and international conferences. She is also the author of eight academic books and holds a German patent, reflecting her commitment to innovation and knowledge dissemination in plant science and microbiology.
